Owner’s Message
Welcome and thank you for visiting us at FloorRight Interiors. My name is Darryl Moore and I am the Owner and President. FloorRight was established in 1976 by my father, Robert Moore, and I have since taken over our family business in 2005 upon his retirement. We have gone through many changes through the 30 plus years since our inception but throughout all of these changes the one thing that has remained constant is our utmost dedication to a completely satisfied customer. From the moment our customers walk through our doors, to the final inspection of our workmanship in your home we strive to provide the highest level of service each and every time. One of the most impactful things my father had always preached to myself and the staff throughout the years was:
“As long as we take care of our customer, the rest will take care of itself.”
35 years later it has more than proven to be true.

Our Story
At FloorRight Interiors we realize that your new flooring purchase is an extremely large investment in your home but more importantly we realize that it is a significant emotional investment as well. Flooring is not only something that you walk on every day but a way for you to express your style, fashion and vision. This is why at FloorRight we have dedicated sales consultants that are highly trained in color and design as well as finding the floor that is perfect for you and your lifestyle. The design process, however, has to start with you. Our experienced sales staff will help guide you through the process but it is your ideas, inspirations and creativity that will ultimately decide what direction to go with your flooring purchase.
From this point we will assess whether your design vision will coincide with your performance expectations. From our many years of experience we have learned that what our customer may “want” is not always what they “need”. For example, you may want that beautiful hardwood floor you have been dreaming about for years, but your two toddlers and 120 pound puppy would suggest that this may not be the best fit for your lifestyle. Our sales consultants are trained to qualify each customer and find the floor that is “right” for you.
Although finding the right floor for you is extremely important, there is so much more that goes into your FloorRight experience when purchasing new flooring. We have dedicated the right people and processes to ensure the best experience from start to finish. A dedicated estimator who will come to your home and accurately measure quantities and determine scope of work. A devoted operations manager that will make certain that we show up the day we promise through tracking of product, scheduling of our installers and constant communication with you, our customer. Certified Journeyman Flooring Mechanics and registered apprentices will ensure that we install each product properly with the utmost care for your home and attention to detail. And finally our Customer Service Representative will come to your home and inspect your newly installed flooring and ensure your complete satisfaction with your FloorRight experience. Although we have committed the right people and processes to ensure you have a great experience with FloorRight, the reality of our business is that we are dealing with custom products and custom installation, and unforeseen circumstances are something that we must deal with from time to time. This can be frustrating to you, our customer, however this is where we feel we separate ourselves from our competition. We are human, we do make mistakes. However we take care of our mistakes and try to learn from each and every one. FloorRight Interiors is not satisfied until you are completely satisfied with the flooring and installation that you will have to live with for many years to come.

Our Community
Lethbridge has been home to FloorRight Interiors for over 30 years and we are honoured to be part of such a wonderful city. Community involvement is very important to us; we feel it is not only important to support those in need but also those who have supported us for the past 30 plus years.
Our longest on-going involvement has been with Westminster Elementary School’s Breakfast Program. In 1995 we became aware that some children go to school without a proper breakfast or lunch. So we helped launch this program and through the years have sent thousands of dollars to help. The program is simple; for every customer survey we receive back after a completed project we donate $5. Also if our customers wish to make a donation we gladly “match” any amount that they are willing to give.
There are also many organizations that raise money for their causes with annual dinners and auctions. We happily donate area rugs for these events. The most recent organizations we have donated area rugs to are the Lethbridge Rotary Club Lobsterfest, U of L Athletics, LCC Alumni, Lethbridge PAW Society, Lethbridge Senior Citizen Association, Lethbridge Association for Community Living, Lethbridge Woman’s Shelter, and the Breast Cancer Survivor Fund.
We also acknowledge that some community organizations require more than a donation for a special event or fundraiser. That is why we have donated products and labour to social organizations such as Streets Alive and the YWCA to help improve their housing related buildings and services.
Being involved in our community is very special to us. Not only is it an opportunity to help out and get involved but it’s also a chance to meet generous groups of people and share a common goal with them. Big or small a sense of community is important and we look forward to being a part of the Lethbridge community for years to come.
